An 8 foot drop is..: ...quite a fall. I'm sure her doctor said that it she was still having problems a week later, she should be seen back. The navel is a common place that pain originating in other abdominal organs (spleen, liver appendix) can be felt. I strongly urge you to have her rechecked.
