I sliced my finger with a mandolin and went to the er and they wrapped with gauze. still bleeding after 2 days when i remove wrapping - that normal?

Should not still be: bleeding 2 days later. really hard to gage this without seeing it. Perhaps it should have had stitches, but that is impossible to say without an exam. But even a cut deep enough to have stitches should stop actively bleeding after 2days. On the other hand a drop or two of blood on the dressing is not unexpected. It all depends on how much blood there is, which again needs to be seen visually
