Crackle w/ head turn: You may have some degenerative disease in cervical spine or can be rapid stretching of ligaments , release of gases (CO2) from joint fluid in vertebrea w/ pressure changes within joint from the stretch . Rarely could be vascular issues in carotid or ear issues. But would check it out w/doc
