Depends.: Very few tests are perfect. Doppler ultrasounds are more accurate in lower legs. Other factors affect accuracy, like swelling, weight, tissue damage, risk factors for clots, and quality of equipment. Further testing may be indicated if your symptoms are suspicious for clots. What are your symptoms? Why is this being done?
