See answer: Either coincidental or your "flare ups" are not due to gallstones. The only reliable symptom of biliary colic is intense dull pain lasting at least 30 minutes and located in any of these areas: RUQ, R shoulder blade, epigastric and some times back and LUQ. Other symptoms of "Dyspepsia" such as gas, bloating, nausea, indigestion are not reliable signs that the symptoms are from the gall bladder
