Vitiligo: Vitiligo alone usually does not cause itching or burning sensations. It appears that you're having some low grade inflammation of or allergic reaction to facial skin. Could it be a reaction to shaving, shaving cream, soap or cologne? Are you applying any ointment or cream on your face which could be the culprit? If symptoms persist, go back to the dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.

See derm again: Vitiligo is not associated with pain or itching. Given that this is considered an autoimmune problem, you may have an autoimmune disease on the face (think lupus) or another skin disorder. If your current dermatologist can't give you an answer, consider a 2nd opinion.
