Neuralgia: This sudden,sharp forehead pain is consistent with an irritable/irritated superficial nerve in the skin which has nothing to do with the brain itself. Neuralgia is more of a nuisance disorder which usually resolves on its own. Tylenol (acetaminophen) may help. See your physician if your pains persist or worsen.
