Metabolism: If you are not burning off what you are consuming, you might want to check with your doctor. The influences of your hormones maybe the cause. A regular doctor's visit, may help clarify.

Here's how: I agree w dr. Ibrahim. Are your clothes fitting looser? If so, you may be losing fat & gaining muscle. Increased muscle mass is good because muscle burns more calories. If you eat too little, your metabolic rate will drop & then it is easier to put weight on.
