Buy bulk, buy basics: Bulk products like rice, beans, canned or frozen vegatables, breads, store brand cereals or soups etc are much cheaper than buying fast food or pre-prepared meals/processed food. A box of store-brand crackers and a can of tuna is healthier and will go much further than a pack of "lunchables". And much cheaper per portion. In this way you can control exactly what goes in your food. Read labels.
