The enlarged node...: ..may be related to your recent infection. Lymph nodes act as traps that prevent infection from getting in to your blood stream. When they're activated by an infection, they can become enlarged & tender. While it's less common for nodes to react this way AFTER an infection, it does happen. If it doesn't calm down in a few days, see your doctor. You may need a blood count & a mono test.
