Yes and: depends a bit on the type of diarrhea, the normal type associated with viral infection, would benefit from pepto. ,is limited in how severe, food doesn't affect it much BUT stomach is irritated also and spaghetti might not be the best. Generally we recommend bland foods without much bulk and increase fluids.
