Hello i went off ill with a common cold but through out the week my throat has gotten more swollen and my right ear is hurting like anything?

Pharyngitis : It is possible that your cold is turning into a bacterial pharyngitis-throat infection. It is quite common for throat pain to refer into the ear on the affected side. You should see a doctor, get a culture, and get antibiotics if necessary.
