Could be steroids!: Some medications can be the issue. An MRI will usually show signs of cerebritis. Other issues are stongly associated with lupus cerebritis: hemolyitic anemia. See a rheumatologist. There are excellent ones in charleston at musc and greenville memorial!

? Seizures: Some people with lupus have neurological symptoms and/or seizures. But some of the medications used to treat sle can have funny side effects. It would be worth seeing a neurologist if you haven't already.
