Could be steroids!: Some medications can be the issue. An MRI will usually show signs of cerebritis. Other issues are stongly associated with lupus cerebritis: hemolyitic anemia. See a rheumatologist. There are excellent ones in charleston at musc and greenville memorial!

? Seizures: Some people with lupus have neurological symptoms and/or seizures. But some of the medications used to treat sle can have funny side effects. It would be worth seeing a neurologist if you haven't already.

26M with asymptomatic asystole pauses ranging from 2-4.6 second Ive had the following tests as investigative follow up. Sleep study normal Echo &ECG Normal MRI essentially normal with borderline evidence of late GAD enhancement. Should I beworrid?
Is it likely that I have ANA (1:640 nucleolar, 1:320 speckled) just because my mother had lupus/MCTD and ctd's ran in her family? Should I be screened for cancer (MRIs etc.) as I read case studies of ANA+ca? No symptoms of any disease, blood etc. ok.
