Top of uterus: Fundal means the top of your uterus. A fundal placenta means it is located at the top which is normal. Placental grading is somewhat controversial. Most radiologist and perinatologists do not use this system. Grade 2 placentas at 25 weeks may or may not be normal. You will need to discuss the details with the doctor who performed the sonogram or is managing your pregnancy
