Bartholin's cyst?: There are glands called Bartholin's glands that can get plugged, causing a cyst about the size you describe. These can get inflamed and sore. They can even get infected. If it's a Bartholin's cyst, it would be along the side of your labia in the area shown in the picture. You should see a gynecologist if it doesn't get better.

Lump: Depends on exact location. Could be a lymph node, a sebaceous cyst, a skin tag. Could be just about anything. Your best option is to see your gynecologist for evaluation and possible removal.
