Might need re-eval.: Depending on the type of fracture, the bone, the severity, decreasing pain over a 6-12 mo. Period is possible. At this stage, you should go back for x-rays, possibly a cat scan or bone scan to be sure the fracture is healed and not a non-union. Also, if you had surgery with hardware(screw, plates, etc), this might also b a source of pain. Also, get a 2nd opinion!

Pain 7 months after: Sometimes that pain that was in one part from a fracture can cause pain in other parts is you are walking differently to avoid tender areas. It is also possible that there is damage to a tendon or did not get enough therapy to 'rehab' yourself back to walking fully. This is common. Although a full examination is needed, sometimes old fashioned ice/elevation and rest works.

7 months : Should be healed. Sometimes a non union can occur and cause the pain. See your doctor for a new x-ray.

See your Dr.: Have another set of x-rays done to see if there is an issue with the original fracture or if there is a new problem

Further workup: Does your X-ray show the fracture is healed? Consider further workup, a specific diagnosis is needed. Sometimes an MRI or ct scan can be helpful. Consider second opinion if you are not getting answers you are comfortable with.
