When doing a pap smear, if the dr touches the bristol with her fingers before inserting to swab cervix, can this cause abnormal results?

No: We can hope that the bristle touched a gloved hand. We can recognize glove material and powder. Even the keratinocytes on a bare hand will not cause confusion.
