Is it ok to take 5 mg ativan (lorazepam) twice a day?

Very high dose: 5 mg of Ativan (lorazepam) is a very high dose, and may not be safe to use twice a day. It could be if your doctor prescribed it, and you've developed that much tolerance to it -- but this could be a different kind of problem.
