Moles: There really is no preventive measures you can take to keep a mole from coming back short of completely excising or removing the mole. So, this is what would happen at the time your mole was removed. Now that it is gone, just keep a close eye on the area and get it looked at if early if you think it might be growing back. Hopefully, the biopsy to remove it got the whole thing and it won't bother
