I am considering getting lip fillers, the consultant uses juvederm. how do i know i won't have a reaction i have never had a cosmetic procedure before?

Great question: The incidence of an allergic reaction to fillers is very low. Many people might get a reaction in terms of: swelling, mild redness or discomfort. These are expected. Like with most things you have never tried, you won't know until you try. Talk with a plastic surgeon and make sure they know your entire medical history to make the best decision

Unlikely: Juvederm is hyaluronic acid which is a protein in our cells so allergy is very rare. Its important to go to someone with a lot of experience in lip injections. Its important to know lip anatomy
