Not normal: Not normal. See Doc that did root canal for assessment. Not all root canals work. If not done by endodontist, consider endodontist opinion.

Call dentist.: Ask your dentist how long you should expect pain and when you should come it if it does not improve. The dentist who did the work knows all the details of your procedure and can guide you best. If concerned, you may also get a second opinion. But dental records and another exam will be needed for that.
