I have a pain in my left side and lower back area for the past 12-14 hours . it is sometimes severe and sometimes moderate pain. wha could cause this?

Go see your doc: You need a doc to examine your belly. Could be a lot of things....Ovarian cyst rupture, kidney stone, infection, ......

You need examined...: Your history is very limited and the area in question includes a large number of possibilities. If these symptoms persist, you would benefit from a doctor taking a more complete history and examining you. At your age, musculoskeletal problems predominate, but bowel, kidney or spleen issues can develop suddenly as well.
