Many germs!: There are many "germs," both viral, bacterial and fungal (and more) that can cause ear infections. Decreased hearing with mild pain can also be due to blockage by ear wax (cerumen). You need to get your ears checked! The treatment will depend on your history and the exam. Don't delay.

Variable: Can cause low grade ear infections, fluid in the inner ear, pressure and pain. I suggest an ENT evaluation.
