OTHER POSSIBLES: Sometimes a medication like topical Eri-C or by mouth tetracycline can help. They are considered obsolete medications and sometimes these old stand-bys are the ones that work. Speak withe your dermatologist. Your problem should be handled by a dermatologist.

Acne and PCOS: PCIS can cause more resistance in treating acne with traditional medications. However it looks like you are on a low dose and perhaps still early in the course of treatment. You will notice improvement with time and a gradual increase in dosing. So be patient. It can take an average of 3 months to see noticeable inprovent in acne. Use a moisturizer and sunblock daily.
