Tonsils are inside: Tonsils are located inside the mouth in the back of the throat on either sides. If your lymph nodes in your neck are swollen these can be due to tonsillitis due to lymphatic drainage to out side lymph nodes. Difficulty in inhaling can be due to enlarged tonsils. Please see a doctor for evaluation and treatment.

Tonsils: No, the tonsils are structures on the back of the mouth at the beginning of the throat. They are positioned on both sides. If you are having problems breathing - please seek prompt attention. Take care.
