Get a sleep study.: "Breathing weird" could be happening many more times per night but the other times do not wake you adequately for you to remember them in the morning. Sleep apnea can cause symptoms like this.. so can anxiety. It would be difficult to determine which it is without a sleep study. If you are overweight or have jaw problems or snore then the likelihood of apnea is higher. Be well...
