Hi doc, the skin on my stomach been feeling itchy for past week. and it feels bloated too. i gave birth 22 mths ago and breastfed for a yr. pls help!

Pruritus: Pruritus is the medical term for itchiness & it can have many causes. In your case, with itching only in one place, it could be you are reacting to a new soap, fabric softener, scent, detergent, lotion or other product. The reason that it's itchy only here may be because there is often close contact between clothes & skin. Use unscented products, no fabric softeners, avoid hot water, pat dry.
