Not UTI, too soon: UTIs are not transmitted sexually to partners, and no infection can cause symptoms immediately after exposure, 1-2 days minimum. Assuming his main symptom is painful urination, probably a chemical irritant or allergy, e.g. spermicide, perfume, soap, etc. STDs can mimic UTI; if any risk and/or he has urethral discharge, it was present before this sexual exposure, and you both need STD tests.
