Needs evaluation..: If you are having diagnosed UTI's after a urine test is done and they have been certainly multiple( more than 5 in a 6 month period) then you might need to see a Urologist. However, if this is based only on your symptoms and no tests has been done you would need to also get checked for a vaginal infection which could be causing similar symptoms as well. See your doctor for examination.

Recurrent UTI: Practicing proper wiping technique is important to avoid genital fecal contamination. Also drinking adequate water is necessary. If recurrence continues further evaluation by urologist or radiologic for anatomical abnormalities is indicated
