My daughter got her first prescription glasses and it gives her headaches. is this normal? how we can we prevent the headaches?

Give it time: It can take several days of wearing glasses for the brain to adjust to processing a clearer image. Have her continue wearing the glasses as prescribed. Help her get good sleep and make sure she is drinking adequate fluids.

Depends,: How long has she had the glasses? If only recently, may need some more time to adjust. If she's had them for a while, see eye doc again. If she only wears them sometimes, she may be having spasm of the internal muscles of the pupil and eye from having to adjust from glasses to no glasses. This may be helped by wearing glasses all the time. See doc to be sure. She may need a different strength
