Is it possible for glasses with the wrong prescription to give you headaches?

Absolutely: Over or under correction, or a prism where none is needed can lead to headaches. The greater the difference the worse the issue. Your eye muscles will try to strain to improve or fix the correction and after a period start to fatigue and/or spasm. It is pretty common for glasses prescriptions to be incorrect per consumers reports. Go to a reputable office for refraction/glasses.
