I got new prescription eye glasses in november just for driving. when i get into the car and put them on they give me headaches. can it be it just takes time to get used to it? been driving for a month now but not consistently?

No, it does not take "time to get used to it". Your eyeglasses were either prepared improperly or manufactured with errors. Either way, return to the original optometrist or eye center and get appropriate lenses. Better yet, see an ophthalmologist for a second opinion.

Agree with ophthalmologist if I’m your insurance. From me personal story, an additional issue was caught, and glasses are much better.
