A member asked:

I had to cover my eye for a couple of hours and now that eye can see in the dark perfectly, while the other one just sees the dark like it's supposed to. like its all lit up? is that normal or am i just a mutant?

Totally normal: and temporary. Eyes adjust to light level at many levels. The size of the pupils (which does NOT differ between the two eyes), the pigments in the eye wear out with light/use. the nerves become more or less sensitized and even brain cells adjust.
