Yes: Unless he is a professional athlete, or under medications to slow his heart, this low heart rate is concerning, you didn't mention his height, but he might be overweight/obese, please get him seen by cardiologist asap, if he/she reassures you, just keep the follow up as directed, wish you both wellness
