Usually: Usually I would say listen to your mom, but in this case she's wrong. It's toothpaste, not forehead paste. Chance of scarring. See a skin specialist, a Dermatologist, immediately.

Not Good Idea: Using any toothpaste for your acne can cause more redness and irritation. Please don't ever do this to your face, save the toothpaste for your teeth only. See your doctor for examination.

TOOTHpaste: Toothpaste is meant for your teeth, not for your acne. Unfortunately your mom was incorrect and you've got an irritation from the ingredients. Keep the area clean and allow the skin to heal.

Toothpaste: Your skin was irritated by the toothpaste. The area should heal. Toothpaste is made for the teeth and not acne. Stop using it on your skin. Your Mom was trying to,help you but she was wrong. This toothpaste thing is one of those old wives tales that does not work.
