A member asked:

What is possible if your wbc, neutrophil absolute, and neutrophil % is high, and lumphocytes are low?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually benign: There are many causes for an increased white count and increased neutrophils, but the most common is an infection. The more concerning causes for increased WBC are ususally associated with other blood cell abnormalities, such as immature or abnormal-looking WBCs. If the WBC is very high, it should be rechecked to make sure it goes back down to normal.
