This is not ....: something we see very often (I never saw a case in 35 years of medical practice) in the United States. While not a common site of extra pulmonary disease, it can occur. I read that most patient respond well to standard anti-tubercular therapy, but that in some cases surgery is required. Treatment failure could be attributed to antibiotic resistance. A local TB expert should be consulted.Good luck
