A member asked:

How accurate are my negative oraquick rapid oral swab hiv test results at 8 weeks and 9 weeks after exposure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Accurate but: high false negative rates in the first 2-3 months after initial exposure. I would check HIV screening blood test 3 months after exposure, then if that is negative, another one 6 months after. Hope this helps.
