Yes it can be: Most melanomas are mixtures of brown/black or tan color. Reddish pink would be uncommon. but watch for changes such as further enlargement in size or changes in color. If it gets bigger, get it removed. You could watch it for a few months and decide if it needs to be checked by your doctor in order to be certain.
