You may have: a Boxer's fracture, otherwise known as metacarpal fracture. Your pinky knuckle is most likely to be injured, but any one of those knuckles could be fractured and displaced, which would explain abnormal movement and indentation. I would see a hand Orthopedist to get properly diagnosed and/or repaired. If left untended to, once scar tissue sets in your knuckle/joint would be permanently deformed.
