Back to ER please: This is serious, high fever and child not passing urine, please take your child to ER, can have urinary tract infection, or urinary obstruction for whatever reason or can be dehydrated, either way he needs immediate medical attention

Dehydration?: A high fever causes rapid radiation of fluid. The UA results suggest it was not a clean catch. Your child needs to be evaluated for dehydration. How long has he not peed? Are his mucous membranes moist? Eyes sunken? Doughy, tenting skin? Push sugary fluids until he can be seen

Mgt: Another urinalysis and a recheck for persistent fever is indicated. He could be dehydrated and clear liquids such as pedialyte may be used.
