Normal: If it didn't move, you would tear your trachea and esophagus apart by turning your head sharply to one side. Isn't connective tissue wonderful? if part of your anatomy hurts when you passively move it forcefully in one direction or another, that is your body telling you to knock it off. If something is hurting without being provoked, it is worth looking at
