No need to stop: Running 2.25 km per day shouldn't effect your menstrual cycle. If you decided to run a marathon (42km) that would be a different story. It takes fairly intense exercise to bother your period. There is no need to stop using the treadmill before, during, or after your periods. Exercise can help with menstrual cramping. Best wishes!

Makes period easier: Exercise actually diminishes cramps during menstruation and makes for easier flows. You might not exercise for as long on the treadmill, but good physical conditioning is beneficial to menstrual health as long as excessive weight loss or anorexia are not present.
