Keep trying: Overall, I can't think of any rash that would be transmitted by the brief casual contact you desribe. 1% hydrocortisone product may help if this is dermatitis, generally use 3-4 times a day. If this doesn't help you might try a lotromin or a similar product over the counter designed to treat fungal infections for several days. Failing both of these you might see a primary MD or dermatologist.
