I had a mammogram done and they told me that in my right breast that i have a nodule that is solid and compacted...but i have pain in my left breast?

Yes : You need to be evaluated by a breast surgeon for biopsy and removal.

Breast nodule: You will probably need at least a breast sonogram to further evaluate the nodule. Based on the mammographic/sonographic features, the radiologist will assess the probability that it could be cancer, and this will determine whether short interval follow up or biopsy is appropriate.
