36 f pp 2 yr. i got a bump on left breast went away with abx.. sebcautanous cyst. however gyn recommended us (showed anechoic cyst and dilated ducts. no solid lesion identified). birads, 0. they recommend bilateral mammogram. i feel unnecessary?

Any lump in the breast needs to be monitored by your doctor. Since it is behaving like a sebaceous cyst on Ultrasound examination, it is not essential to have mammograms done right now but a check up by your Gyn in 6 months is advised. He/she may repeat the US or do mammograms.
