Balance issues: require a trip to your doc or the emergency department now. It MAY be as simple as an inner ear infection or something more serious. You will find out and then any necessary treatment can be offered. Peace and good health.

Labyrinthitis: At your age the most likely cause is a VIRAL infection!(Unless you have recent AIR travel) It will subside with time OTC "Dramamine" (or "seasickness medication) might helps otherwise your PCP can prescribe a more potent medication! Hope this helps! Dr Z
