I had a esophagus manometry 2 days ago. my throat still hurts, especially when swallowing. is this normal? the tech who did it was rough.

Get an exam: With an esophagus you would normally feel a temporary soreness in your throat. Lozenges or gargling with salt water generally help. However, with any unusual symptoms or side effects after an esophageal manometry you should immediately call your doctor or go to the emergency room.
