A few years ago i swallowed two advil in the car without water and got stuck in traffic- the advil got stuck in my throat and began to burn. burning/pain/discomfort lasted for a week or so. is it likely it burned a hole in my esophagus? will it heal?

2 years ago: You had that incident, and since then you had no symptoms, so you don't have a problem, and your esophagus is fine
