Any "azole" drug: If you have had yeast professionally diagnosed, AND if your symptoms are the same, AND if no risk for other infections, especially STDs, then self treatment probably is safe. Otherwise, see a doctor or clinic. Effective OTC treatments are fluconazole (Diflucan), single dose by mouth; or other "azole" creams, inserts, etc (miconazole, clotrimazole, etc). All equally good; you can use the cheapest.
